Welcome to the
Golden Horseshoe Woodturners Guild
Who Are We?
The Golden Horseshoe Woodturners Guild is a fellowship of turners "dedicated to providing practical
facilities, education and information to those interested in advancing and promoting
woodturning". The practical facilities consist of seven equiped lathes, a grinder with
Oneway jigs, and tools for use by our members and demonstrators. Additionally we have an extensive
library of books, magazines, videos and DVDs related to woodturning.
Although we are unable to meet face to face at our normal venue due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are looking at
ways that we can bring information and interesting content to our members. Thus, we are now having our normal meetings
on both the 2nd and 3rd Thursdays of the month via Zoom. This has proved successful so far and we have had good attendance. Guests who are interested in learning what we do, and how we do it, are invited to join, you can email the communications officer at communications@ghwg.ca and then you can receive the information for the relevant Zoom meeting.
Here is a message from our President Keith Robinson regarding our activities during these difficult times.
