Membership fees are based on the calendar year (January 1-December 31). The first year fee for an individual is $75 (this covers the cost of ordering a custom cherry wood badge) and each annual renewal thereafter is $60. For 20 meetings a year, that translates to $3/meeting, not to mention all the additional value-added activities such as 2 competitions, annual swop & shop, trading post, workshops, mentorship program, learning resources, hybrid meetings and of course fellowship with other woodturners.
A Family membership (one additional adult or child over 14, living at the same address) is $110 for the first year and the annual renewal is $95.
Annual renewal dues are due before the last day of February. Beginning March 1, the late renewal fee (or reinstatement) is $75 for individuals or $110 for a family.
New members who join in September, October or November of a calendar year will receive membership that covers the next calendar year. For example, if a member joins in September, 2019, they will receive membership through 2020.
Members who lose their custom membership badges will be required to pay a $15 replacement charge. Please note that members attending the Hands-On Night (2nd Thursday of each month) are required to wear their membership badge (insurance policy requirement).
