  Please join us this evening as Dave Bell demonstrates  a different style of box ... one that requires 3 pieces (a top, a bottom and the sides).   It looks interesting and may be challenging enough for some beginners but also something different for those a little more experienced.

  Dave will go through the process of turning the box body, the base, and the lid.  Consideration will be given to selecting grain orientation.   Ideas for boxes will be shared for design elements on each of the 3 box pieces.  Colouring, pyrography and texturing will be demonstrated to show these enhancements for boxes.  There will also be the addition of cloth to the inside of the box bottom.   The final steps will include finishing and assembly.
