EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Happy New Year!  This evening is a Hands-On night and will start 2026 with a tune-up on equipment, tools and approach, with advice on: 

Malcolm Cumming – Lathe and chuck maintenance.  Feel free to bring in chucks or accessories that aren’t working correctly.

Dan MacNeil – Sharpening. Bring in your dull tools and get them tuned up to start that new project.

Scott Millard – Advice table. Simple tips on how to take your turnings to the next level.

In addition, Jim Wright will be demonstrating on how to get started on pen turning and Keith Robinson will be demonstrating some fabulous project, perhaps a goblet to help members prepare for next week's President's Challenge.

This hands-on evening WILL NOT be streamed live in our usual hybrid meeting format.   

All are welcome.  Guests are invited to join an introductory meeting to  see how they like the group, then encouraged to sign up online and become a member of the Guild.
